TV-Series
Description
Alicia is a central figure in Helck's past and a skilled mercenary who becomes an artificial hero. She comes from a long line of mercenaries and was told that one of her ancestors was a hero who fought demons before the founding of the current Human Empire. Orphaned at around the age of eleven when her parents passed away, she spent the following three years exterminating monsters and training before wandering the world and eventually joining a mercenary group that she deemed suitable.
Physically, Alicia is a young woman with long, smooth blonde hair and light blue eyes. However, after undergoing a forced awakening, her hair turns white and her eyes change to yellow. Her personality is defined by her role as a natural-born leader who is fearless in combat. She becomes annoyed when encountering someone stronger than herself and is easily stressed when it comes to providing emotional support to her friends. Alicia claims to have no interest in love and no experience with it.
Alicia's role in the story is deeply intertwined with Helck's past. She was a mercenary who specialized in hunting monsters and met Helck during his journey to Edil's home. She trained Helck in the use of both the bow and the sword, contributing significantly to his combat abilities. She is also the descendant of a figure named Uria and inherited the Hero Killer sword, a powerful blade that Azudora left to Uria's widow and which can inflict fatal injuries on a hero. Later, after the human world's king activates a spell to forcibly awaken humans, Alicia transforms into an artificial hero, similar to others like Edil and Zell, though she retains her individuality due to high compatibility with the process.
Alicia's key relationships are primarily with her mercenary band, including members like Zell, Edil, and Haraolle, and most significantly with Helck. She shares a deep bond with Helck, valuing his constant smile and finding that it puts her heart at ease. In a poignant moment before her transformation, she asks him to always wear a smile for her, even if she becomes his enemy. Her feelings for him are profound, and she enjoys the food and black tea he prepares for her. She also has an older sister named Asuta.
Alicia's development sees her transition from a highly skilled human mercenary into an awakened artificial hero. Under the control of the Human King, whose magic allows him to command artificially awakened heroes, she is forced to become an enemy to Helck. However, she and Zell are able to break free from this control due to Helck's presence, as viewing someone as a higher existence can overcome the king's influence. In the aftermath of the final battle, Azudora, the demon king, manages to completely restore Alicia to normal, leading to a tearful reunion with Helck.
In terms of abilities, Alicia is a formidable warrior. She is a proficient swordswoman, noted to be better than her comrades Edil and Zell, and an expert markswoman with archery skills considered among the best in the Human Kingdom. Her physical capabilities are enhanced beyond normal human limits, granting her enhanced speed, reflexes, and durability. Her primary weapons are a bow and arrows, and she formerly wielded the Hero Killer sword, which was eventually broken during a confrontation with the Human King and Mikaros.
