Description
Yuna Goha is a central figure in the second major story arc of the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!, serving as its secondary antagonist. She holds the position of president of the Goha Company, a powerful and influential corporation within the world of the series. At the start of her arc, Yuna has been reported missing in the Alien Residential Area, a mysterious district on Earth. This disappearance prompts an investigation by the group UTS, who are hired to locate her, setting the stage for her introduction and conflict with the main characters.

Yuna is a young girl of elementary school age with a distinctive appearance. She has green eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair that curls up prominently at the ends, which she restrains with a pink hairband. Her standard attire consists of a green minidress with a pale green collar and hem, decorated with a pattern of overlapping, multicolored circles. She also wears a pink scarf wrapped tightly around her neck like a choker, with the knot hanging down her back, and a pair of white, high-heeled, knee-high boots. When traveling incognito in the Alien Residential Area, she wears a black cloak that conceals most of her features. In the second season of the anime, her appearance changes as she attends Alien Middle School Number 8, where she wears a traditional sailor fuku uniform consisting of a white blouse with a blue collar fastened by a red ribbon, a pleated blue skirt, white calf-length socks, and her usual white boots.

In her initial appearance, Yuna is portrayed as a cold, cruel, and ruthless individual. She openly disdains the concept of helping others and is deeply disrespectful toward her opponents, even refusing to give her name at the beginning of a Rush Duel. This harsh demeanor is compounded by a violent temper, which she frequently displays, often resorting to physical abuse against those who have angered her, particularly her captive, Fisher Sukai. Despite this aggression, she typically restrains herself from physically attacking her Dueling opponents. A core aspect of her personality is her intense admiration and reverence for a figure named Rovian Kirishima. Her violent actions against Sukai and her hostility toward UTS are largely driven by a desire to protect Rovian and her interests. She takes great offense to the assumption by UTS that she was kidnapped by Rovian's group, the Rovian Bandits, because she has in fact chosen to work with them willingly, having been captivated by Rovian's passion for protecting the freedom and joy of Rush Dueling. Furthermore, Yuna holds strong, deep-seated feelings for the character Yuga Ohdo, and she is devastated upon learning of his defeat and subsequent carding. This event fuels her determination to avenge him by any means necessary.

Yuna's motivations are deeply intertwined with her personal allegiances. She abandoned her prestigious position at the Goha Company to join the Rovian Bandits in their castle stronghold, Badloon Castle, having been inspired by Rovian's drive. Her primary role in the story is as a formidable obstacle for the protagonists, as she actively works to thwart their investigation and protect Rovian's operations. She confronts the main characters directly, engaging them in Rush Duels to prove their ignorance and to prevent them from interfering with her plans. Her loyalty to Rovian is initially absolute, but her personal quest for vengeance on behalf of Yuga Ohdo becomes an equally powerful motivator.

Key relationships define her actions throughout the series. Her most significant relationship is with Rovian Kirishima, whom she adulates with almost fanatical devotion, cheering her on enthusiastically and following her commands. Her bond with Yuga Ohdo is also crucial; she not only holds powerful feelings for him but also uses his Deck as a reference for her own and is deeply traumatized by his defeat. Her initial dynamic with the protagonist Yudias Velgear is antagonistic, as she mocks his idealism and defeats him in their first encounter, though she seems to recognize the Duel Disk he carries from its previous owner. Over time, her relationships begin to shift, particularly after her own defeat against Manabu Sogetsu, which marks a turning point in her behavior.

Yuna undergoes a significant character development over the course of the series. When first introduced, she is defined by her cruelty, violent outbursts, and ruthless efficiency. However, following her loss to Manabu Sogetsu, her personality changes considerably. She becomes noticeably calmer and less prone to temper tantrums and physical violence. She begins to accept defeat more gracefully and shifts her focus from pure antagonism to wishing to defeat the organization MIK alongside her friends. Her reverence for Rovian persists, but she expresses it in a much more relaxed and less manic tone compared to her first appearance. This evolution marks her transition from a primary antagonist to a more complex and cooperative character.

As a Duelist, Yuna possesses notable abilities and commands two distinct Decks. Initially, she uses the Sevens Road Deck belonging to Yuga Ohdo, which features his ace monster, Sevens Road Magician. Her strategy with this Deck revolves around sending monsters with different Attributes to the Graveyard to dramatically increase the attack power of Sevens Road Magician. She is also the first character in the Rush Duel anime to use an Equip Spell Card, employing Road Arms - Sevens Lance, which further empowers her monster and protects it from being destroyed by the opponent's Trap Cards. She initially borrowed this Deck to serve as a reference for constructing her own original Deck. Her personal Deck is known as the Celeb Rose Deck. Unlike Yuga's multi-Attribute strategy, her Celeb Rose monsters are exclusively LIGHT Attribute, and the deck has a heavy focus on Spell Cards, particularly Equip Spells. The effects of her Celeb Rose ace monsters are centered around manipulating these Equip Spells to destroy the opponent's monsters, showcasing a more aggressive and direct playstyle.
