Description
Claire Kokonoe is a 16- to 17-year-old female student with a November birthday, serving as treasurer for the Going Home Club, a school group focused solely on unstructured leisure. As heiress to a mega-corporation fortune, her background shapes her worldview and drives her enrollment quest for normalcy despite extreme privilege. Her personality exhibits an extreme reliance on wealth as the ultimate solution, displaying scant grasp of practical spending. She routinely solves problems with money, deploying helicopters for trivial distances or to assist clubmate Karin Tono with stairs, and buying an entire stationery store when the school shop lacked Karin's preferred eraser color, embodying her belief that "money can solve everything." She occasionally breaks the fourth wall, fitting the series' comedic tone.

Within the club, Claire shares an intensely close yet possessive bond with Karin Tono. She reacts with fierce protectiveness against attempts to involve Karin externally. When club president Sakura Domyoji proposed making Karin the soccer team manager for field access, Claire and Botan Ohagi responded by crushing the team in a decisive match. Claire only called off a poised sniper after securing victory, highlighting her access to formidable resources. Her jealousy surfaces if Karin's attention wavers, like when Karin jokingly claimed to hate Botan, visibly unsettling Claire.

She actively engages in the club's absurd escapades, contributing to cold-opens with random facts (e.g., the Parasaurolophus' crest function) and collaborative projects like surprise parties or RPG-style imaginative games. Her interactions consistently showcase extravagant problem-solving, deep loyalty—especially to Karin—and seamless integration into the group's whimsical avoidance of conventional responsibilities.
