TV-Series
Description
Chloe Forkroad is a student at Saint-Noel Academy in the Holy Principality of Belluga, where she is a classmate of Princess Mia Luna Tearmoon. She is the daughter of Marco Forkroad, the head of Forkroad & Company, a large and successful trading firm that rose to prominence within a single generation. Her family’s status as wealthy but newly appointed nobles plays a significant role in her social challenges at the academy, as some of the more established aristocratic families look down upon her background.

Chloe is characterized by a very reserved and shy personality. She is an avid bookworm who finds more comfort in reading than in social interaction, and she battles with significant nervousness that makes holding conversations difficult for her. Before becoming friends with Mia, she was considered a loner who could not picture herself being able to talk to others without extreme anxiety. Her thick crop of black hair and even thicker glasses are her most notable physical traits, often being the first things people notice about her. Her hobbies are centered around her love for literature, and she possesses a great deal of knowledge, particularly about books, as they are a primary commodity for her family’s business.

In the story, Chloe’s primary role is as a close friend and ally to Princess Mia. In the original timeline, she and Mia had no connection, but in the current timeline, their relationship begins when Mia approaches her out of a shared passion for reading. Chloe is initially shocked that the famous princess would talk to her and fears that Mia is only doing so out of pity. She is genuinely surprised to discover that Mia wishes to be her book buddy. For Mia, befriending Chloe is notable as it is one of the few friendships she forms without an ulterior motive at the start, though she later uses this connection to forge a business contract with Chloe’s father. Chloe, in turn, introduces Mia to her father when asked.

The key relationship in Chloe’s life is with Mia Luna Tearmoon. Through their friendship, Chloe is slowly drawn out of her shell. Becoming friends with Mia leads to her integrating into Mia’s social circle, which helps her become more confident and less isolated at the academy. She also shares a deep bond of respect and care for her father, Marco Forkroad, and is shown to be concerned for his health. Her friendship with Mia extends beyond their school years in certain timelines, and after Chloe succeeds her father, she and Mia continue to work together closely when Mia becomes Empress.

Chloe undergoes significant personal development throughout the story. She transitions from a lonely, nervous girl who cannot hold a conversation to a more confident individual who has friends and a support network, all stemming from her initial, unexpected connection with Mia. Her key motivation is simply a desire to connect with others, a need that is fulfilled through her shared love of books. Regarding notable abilities, no specific information is available.
