Description
Nia is a young boy who lives in the village of Waldelia, a settlement in the fantasy world of No Longer Allowed in Another World. Originally from the desert region of Doriten, he is accustomed to hot climates and possesses a resilience that reflects his upbringing. An orphan, Nia carries his father’s sword as a treasured keepsake, a weapon he later uses in combat. Before meeting the protagonist known as Sensei, Nia made a living by running scams on people summoned from other worlds, a background that hints at a cunning and opportunistic streak. However, after joining Sensei’s group, he channels his resourcefulness toward a different path: he aspires to become a brave warrior.

Nia’s personality is marked by a blend of youthful ambition and pragmatism. He is determined to prove himself as a capable fighter and takes pride in his father’s blade. Despite his earlier con artist ways, he shows loyalty to his companions and a willingness to learn. His interactions with Sensei often reveal a practical, street‑smart side; for instance, he demonstrates an aptitude for lockpicking, a skill he once used to escape captivity in the kingdom of Grün. Sensei later recalls this ability and asks Nia to open a locked drawer, indicating that the boy’s talents are recognized and valued by the group.

Within the story, Nia serves as a warrior in the party, accompanying Sensei, the elf priestess Annette, and the catgirl Tama on their journey. His motivations shift from simple self‑interest to a desire for growth and belonging, though he retains a mischievous edge. He is not as central to the narrative as the main trio, but his presence adds a youthful, earnest energy to the group dynamic. His relationship with Sensei is that of a protégé who respects the author’s unconventional wisdom, even if he does not always understand it. Over time, Nia becomes more reliable and less inclined to rely on deception, though his lockpicking and scamming past remain part of his character. His notable abilities include swordsmanship with his inherited weapon and a knack for picking locks, making him useful in both combat and infiltration situations.
