Description
Hazuki Kudō is a female high school student and a first-year at Harugakita Academy, later advancing to the second year. She is a close friend and classmate of Nagisa Kubo and Tamao Taira, with her friendship with Nagisa dating back to their elementary school days. Born on October 3rd, she stands 165 cm tall and is known for her dark blue hair, which she typically wears tied back but lets down when she is resting or sleeping. She has a particular fondness for black coffee.

Hazuki's personality is defined by her maturity, perceptiveness, and strong sense of responsibility. She is highly skilled at reading the atmosphere of a room and acting appropriately, often serving as the voice of reason within her friend group. While she is a supportive friend who recognizes the efforts of others, she is also not afraid to offer constructive criticism or a gentle reprimand when someone oversteps. In the dynamic of her trio of friends, Hazuki frequently takes on the role of the straight woman, delivering sharp, pragmatic observations and witty retorts, especially in response to the more enthusiastic behavior of Tamao or classmate Yuuma Sudou. Her calm and collected demeanor makes her a stabilizing presence and a natural mediator.

Her primary motivation is to maintain harmony and support her friends. She is deeply loyal and acts as an emotional pillar for Nagisa and Tamao. Within the story, Hazuki starts as a seemingly minor background character whose name is revealed later, but her presence and importance grow significantly over time, eventually establishing her as a key figure responsible for the group's balance. Her role is prominently highlighted during a second-year sports tournament when she proposes a strategic change in team positioning for a group event, an initiative that successfully unifies her classmates and demonstrates her leadership and ability to resolve tensions.

Key relationships center on her close friendship with Nagisa Kubo and Tamao Taira, forming an inseparable trio. She is also on good terms with Junta Shiraishi and Yuuma Sudou. Hazuki is perceptive enough to recognize the developing romantic feelings between Nagisa and Junta before they fully realize it themselves. However, she chooses to observe discreetly, waiting for them to come to their own understanding rather than interfering directly.

Throughout the narrative, Hazuki undergoes a subtle but clear development, evolving from an unnamed figure in the background to a crucial supporting character and the reliable core of her social circle. Her notable abilities include an exceptional capacity to read interpersonal dynamics, a talent for de-escalating minor conflicts with practical solutions, and the steadfast reliability that makes her an indispensable friend.
