Futaba Takemoto is a young woman who first appears upon relocating from a rural area, specifically Ishikawa Prefecture, to Tokyo to attend university. Her move to the big city is driven by a desire to leave her provincial life behind and find more meaning and excitement in the capital, a place she romanticizes despite the ongoing alien crisis. She has a distinct visual design, often characterized by her rounded nose, prominent cheeks, and a hairstyle that includes bangs and a bun.
