Kosetsu Minobe, also known as Kousetsu, is a main character in the anime Shinobi no Ittoki. She is an Iga ninja and a childhood friend of the protagonist, Ittoki Sakuraba. From a very young age, she has watched over Ittoki from the shadows, serving as his silent protector. She is always seen wearing a black mask that conceals the lower half of her face, and she has long silver hair that falls past her waist.

Kosetsu is a quiet and reserved individual who rarely speaks. Her silence is a defining trait, and she communicates more through actions than words. Despite her muted demeanor, she demonstrates a deep sense of loyalty and care toward Ittoki, following him constantly and intervening whenever he is in danger. She acts as his guardian, often keeping a low profile but ready to act when necessary. Her relationship with Ittoki is central to her character; she is devoted to him, and her protective nature sometimes borders on obsessive, as she disregards his privacy in her mission to keep him safe. She also interacts with other Iga members such as his mother Yumika and his uncle Tokisada, cooperating with them to protect the clan’s heir.

Throughout the series, Kosetsu remains largely constant in her role as a guardian, but she shows subtle development as she begins to trust Ittoki’s own growing capabilities and works alongside him as a partner rather than solely as a shadow.
