Description
Taro Shirogane, nicknamed Kinta, balances refined poise with aggressive intensity as one of his judo club's toughest members. He endured a streak of tournament defeats, losing the finals to the same opponent for three consecutive years starting in fourth grade. Yet his dedication to judo never wavered, fueling daily practice sessions where he developed feelings for classmate Yuka Mizuhara.

His path shifted dramatically when a battle-triggered time-space fissure at the North Pole allowed him to seize the Tyrannosaurus-shaped mecha Magna Tyranno. As pilot of this machine, designated Magnasaurer, Kinta commands its transformation into a humanoid form or the Magna-Buster – detachable shoulder cannons augmenting other mecha's firepower. He executes signature attacks like the explosive crystal "Magna Bomber," thrown like a football, and the "Magna Shot" from its shoulder cannons. Magnasaurer combines with Gosaurer to form "Gosaurer Magna-Buster Mode" or integrates into the larger "King Gosaurer" formation alongside other units.

A defining moment tested Kinta when a decisive judo tournament coincided with a Kikaikajuu attack. Facing a potential victory, he chose instead to forfeit the match upon realizing his fellow pilots needed his support, prioritizing team responsibility over personal ambition and solidifying his integration into the group.

Within the mecha pilot trio, Kinta functions as the "Ego," mediating between Kenichi Minezaki's impulsive "Id" and Youji Hiyama's cautious "Superego." His determined, sometimes abrasive nature masks underlying loyalty, fitting the "Jerk with a Heart of Gold" archetype. His reliability in combat is proven through leadership during operations, especially when piloting multiple units during coordination failures.
