TV-Series
Description
Kenichi Minezaki attends Harukaze Elementary School as a sixth-grader in class 6-2. His athletic skills find a natural connection to his parents' sports store, Minezaki Sports. Academics prove challenging for him, a common trait among Eldran series protagonists.

Socially active and cheerful, Kenichi frequently skateboards and plays soccer with close friends Saneyasu "Bon" Mushanokoji and Kazutaka "Chobi" Seki. He's known as a troublemaker, often sparking conflicts with classmates Shinobu Asaoka, Goro Ishida, or Taro Shirogane. This impulsiveness defines his role as the "Id" within Gosaurer's Freudian trio of core pilots.

As primary pilot of Mach Ptera and main pilot of the combined robot Gosaurer (later King Gosaurer), Kenichi operates the component forming the robot's arms, wings, and upper back. His hot-blooded nature fuels enthusiastic but sometimes rash actions during battle, leading to strategic errors. Despite frequent arguments, he possesses a heart of gold and deeply cares for his teammates.

A significant event sees Kenichi temporarily roboticized after exposure to a mechanization ray from the Mechanization Empire's Hagurama-Daioh. While initially a curse, this transformation occasionally offers tactical advantages, though he actively seeks full restoration to humanity. The process nearly proves fatal against the Machine Great King until intervention by General Takeda's Matter Restoration Device reverses the mechanization.

Throughout the series, Kenichi competes for attention, particularly with Saurers' leader Erika Kozu ("Eri"). This rivalry sometimes disrupts team cohesion, yet he remains committed to defending Earth. His growth is evident as he shoulders increasing responsibility, culminating in his graduation from Harukaze Elementary alongside the Saurers following the defeat of the Mechanization Empire's emperor.

Kenichi's relationships blend camaraderie and friction. His dynamic with Shinobu involves constant bickering, yet they collaborate effectively piloting Gosaurer. Tensions arise with class president Goro due to Kenichi's disruptive behavior, though both unite during crises. Kenichi's unofficial leadership of Gosaurer stems from his central role in initiating combinations and executing finishing moves like the Saurer Magma Finish.
