Description
Alexis von Bozes is the eldest son of the noble Bozes family. He is eighteen years old and initially known as a libertine noble, but his character undergoes a significant shift after meeting the protagonist, Mitsuha Yamano.
Upon encountering Mitsuha, Alexis falls deeply in love with her, though his feelings are largely unrequited. His motivations become centered on protecting her and proving his worth. This is demonstrated when he protects the Marquis Eiblinger and Mitsuha from assassins sent by the Empire. His courageous actions earn him recognition for his merits, leading to a promotion to the rank of viscount. As a reward for his service, he is also granted a new territory adjacent to the Yamano region.
His role in the story is that of a noble turned loyal protector and a neighboring landowner. His key relationships are defined by his unreturned affection for Mitsuha and his position as a vassal and ally to higher-ranking nobles like the Marquis. His development sees him transform from a noble with a reputation for idleness to a decorated and responsible viscount through acts of bravery and loyalty. His notable ability lies in martial combat, specifically his capability to fight and protect others from physical threats such as imperial assassins.
