Description
Nefertima Néma Osphe is the reincarnated form of Midori Akitsu, a twenty-seven-year-old office worker from Earth who died from overwork. After her death, a deity offered her a second chance in the world of Asdyllon, where she was reborn as the third child and only daughter of the Duke of Osphe in the kingdom of Gaché. She retains all memories of her previous life, including her deep longing to touch and pet fluffy animals. Her appearance is that of a young child, with medium-length orange hair and blue eyes. Néma is sweet, innocent, and deeply kind-hearted, showing compassion toward everyone she meets, especially non-human creatures. Her greatest joy comes from interacting with animals and magical beasts, and she exhibits a gentle and affectionate nature that draws others to her. Her primary motivation is to befriend and care for all manner of fluffy beings, a desire rooted in the lonely and stressful life she led as Midori. At the same time, she carries a hidden responsibility: the deity who reincarnated her assigned her the task of observing the humans of Asdyllon, who violently discriminate against non-human beings, and deciding whether they deserve to continue existing. Néma is unaware at first of the seriousness of this mission, but she gradually discovers the tensions between humans and other species in her new world. She is granted a unique ability to attract the affection of all non-human creatures, from common animals to sacred beasts like white tigers and dragons, and even monsters such as goblins and ice spiders. This power allows her to approach, pet, and communicate with beings that would normally be wary or hostile. In the story, Néma serves as the central figure who bridges the divide between humans and non-humans. Her actions and choices shape the fate of both groups, as her bond with the creatures around her challenges the prejudice embedded in her society. Key relationships include her family members: her mother Cerulia Osfe, her father Dayland Osfe, her older brother Ralf Osfe, and her older sister Karnadia Osfe. Outside her family, she forms a close bond with a sacred white tiger named Lars, who belongs to the prince of the kingdom. Néma also interacts with the prince himself, who develops a protective and fond attitude toward her. Through these connections, Néma begins to influence the attitudes of those around her, softening the harsh divisions that exist in the world. Over the course of the series, Néma develops from a sheltered noble child into a more active and perceptive figure, using her ability to protect the creatures she loves and to confront the injustices she witnesses. Her notable abilities include the passive charm that makes non-human beings adore her, as well as a natural courage that leads her to stand between danger and the animals she cares for, as seen when she intervenes to defend a fire dragon summoned during her sister's examination. no info
