Description
Ojou is a light yellow Bee Cocotama from the anime Kira Kira Happy Hirake! Cocotama. She is a small spirit born from a watering can that was kept in a garden high in the mountains, and she is referred to as the Watering Can Goddess. Her full title is Joro de Jotto Sukusuku Pakka no Mikoto, and her hiding egg in the related toy line is light yellow.
In terms of personality, Ojou is a diligent and capable worker, especially skilled as a gardener. She is soft-spoken and gentle in manner, and she cries easily when her emotions get the better of her. Her speech typically ends with the verbal tic "da jo". She has a close bond with the natural world, as she can understand animals well and enjoys sleeping in the ground, habits that reflect her life in the mountains.
Within the story, Ojou initially lives apart from the main group, staying in the high mountains where she was born. She rarely comes down to the lowlands to visit the human girl Haruka and the other Cocotamas at the Antique Shop. Over time, however, she decides to leave her solitary mountain home and stay at the Cocotama Castle, taking up the role of resident gardener there. This decision marks the central thread of her development, as she transitions from a distant and isolated figure into an active member of the Cocotama community, where she works closely alongside her fellow spirits.
Her main motivation is caring for plants and the environment, and she channels this devotion into maintaining the gardens of the castle. Her notable abilities include a form of magic that revolves around gardening, which she uses to nurture plant life, along with her practical talents as a hardworking gardener and her special gift for understanding animals.
