Description
Pashari is a character from the anime Kira Kira Happy Hirake! Cocotama, where she is presented as one of the Cocotama, small gods born from objects that have been cared for and treasured over time. She is known as the Camera Goddess, since she came into being from the camera carried by a news photographer, a camera that served as the photographer's trusted partner. Her full divine title is Pashapasha tto Tokudane Mikke no Mikoto.
She first appears in the forty-fourth episode of the series, in an episode dealing with her arrival while the main character Haruka and the other Cocotama are carrying out one of their usual activities in Sakura Town. After this introduction she becomes part of the Cocotama community living in Cocotama Town.
Pashari is a female Cocotama with large ears that resemble a cat's, yellow hair at the front of her head, a mark shaped like a camera flash on her outfit, and a tail shaped like a camera. She carries a camera with her at all times and ends her sentences with the sound "pasha," which echoes the shutter sound of a camera.
Her personality is marked by strong curiosity and a reporter's instinct. She is interested in subjects and details that others tend to overlook, and she is always on the lookout for a good scoop. Her main motivation is to find newsworthy material and share it with those around her, and she accomplishes this through her special ability known as scoop magic, which allows her to provide various kinds of information in the form of photographs. Her magic incantation is "Pasha tto tokudane miitsuketa!", which roughly translates to "Pasha! I found a scoop!"
In the story, she acts as a photographer and news-gatherer among the Cocotama, using her camera to document events and deliver useful information to her friends. Her origin ties her to the news photographer whose camera gave her life, and after joining the other Cocotama she takes part in their everyday activities as a friendly and helpful resident of Cocotama Town.
