TV-Series
Description
Aljis is presented as the leader of the resistance group ARMS, an organization dedicated to liberating Mecha-Udes that have been captured and used as weapons by the Kagami Group. He is the one who orders the operative Aki to retrieve a special Mecha-Ude named Alma from a laboratory. In his public-facing role, Aljis is characterized as cool, calm, collected, professional, and a no-nonsense leader who reminds his subordinates of their priorities.

However, this image is a carefully constructed facade. The truth is that Aljis is not a human being, but the reanimated corpse of Yakumo Kagami, the original founder of the Kagami Group who died one hundred years prior to the main story. Aljis is actually the Mecha-Ude known as Fist, who is Alma's older brother, controlling and puppeteering Yakumo's decaying body using mechanical enhancements to prevent its collapse. Fist adopted the identity of Aljis to infiltrate and lead ARMS from within, secretly manipulating both the resistance group and the Kagami Group to achieve his own goals.

Fist's motivations are rooted in a past tragedy. A century ago, he witnessed the deaths of Yakumo and another human companion, Tsukihito, which destroyed his faith in the possibility of peaceful coexistence between humans and Mecha-Udes. Consequently, his true agenda is to free all Mecha-Ude by any means necessary, even if it requires the subjugation or extermination of humanity. This philosophy that the ends justify the means puts him in direct opposition to his younger brother, Alma, who forms a genuine bond with the human protagonist, Hikaru.

Within the story, Aljis serves as the primary antagonist and the true mastermind behind the central conflict. While leading ARMS in a fight against the Kagami Group, he is simultaneously pulling the strings from the shadows to orchestrate events to his own design, including the capture of Alma, who is identified as a unique Trigger Arm capable of generating energy on his own. His key relationships are defined by deception. He is the superior of Aki, whom he commands, and the secret brother of Alma, whom he seeks to control. He is also the enemy of Hikaru, whose bond with Alma represents everything Fist believes is impossible.

As the series progresses, Aljis's composed and stoic demeanor begins to crack. When his plans are threatened, especially by Alma's defiance, he grows increasingly volatile and emotionally erupts, revealing the fury and conviction beneath the surface. The decaying body of Yakumo Kagami is a critical weakness for Aljis; it is fragile in combat and requires extensive mechanical support, and physical damage risks exposing his true nature. This deterioration eventually forces Fist to abandon the Aljis identity entirely, transferring his consciousness to a new human host, Jun Kagami, to continue his campaign.

Regarding notable abilities, Aljis is permanently bonded to the Mecha-Ude Fist, and the two share distinctive icy blue eyes that hint at their profound connection. Fist possesses the ability to reanimate and puppet a corpse, mechanically enhancing it to maintain functionality. While using the Aljis body, Fist's fighting style emphasizes precision and efficiency, reflecting his logical nature. His ultimate plan involves harnessing the power of a source called Ordela to create a new world for Mecha-Udes, regardless of the consequences for humanity.
