Katsura Takeda is the daughter of General Takeda, head of the defense force. She resides in Aozora Town and attends Aozora Elementary School as a fourth-grade student in class 4-1. She shares class committee duties with Rikiya Ryuzaki. Doted on by her father, she initially greets the Ganbare Team with skepticism and disapproval.

She carries herself with a bossy and prim demeanor, often displaying stubbornness. Her interactions with Chinatsu Yuuki fluctuate significantly; they appear as friends at times, while Katsura occasionally adopts a mocking or condescending tone, creating friction. Her connection with Rikiya Ryuzaki deepens after he rescues her in his identity as Red Ganba. This event begins to thaw her stance toward the Ganbare Team, though her regard remains higher for Rikiya personally than the group collectively.

A subtle romantic connection with Rikiya emerges, particularly during the series' ending sequences, presented as the least overt among the primary character pairings. Her role as a love interest remains understated.

She makes a non-speaking cameo appearance in the anime series *Nekketsu Saikyo Gosaurer*, seen alongside her father at the Takeda residence. This appearance does not reference her relationship with Rikiya or her past in Aozora Town.
