Seventeen years prior to the series, she crash-landed on Earth with the Data Weapons, adopting the civilian identity of Orie Kusanagi. To assimilate, she disguises her alien features with colored contacts and dyed hair, embedding herself in Hoshimi Town’s community.

In combat, Vega commands the advanced motorcycle Valkyrie, wielding an arsenal of whip-like weapons, throwing blades, and explosives. Her tactical prowess and knowledge of Data Weapons allow her to rival foes like the Black Knight Arthea and strategically support the giant robot Dendoh in battle. Her insights into the Galfa Empire’s strategies further cement her as a linchpin in GEAR’s operations, an organization she helped establish.

Beyond her military role, Vega lives a double life as Orie, mother to Dendoh’s pilot Hokuto Kusanagi.
