The young knight Galahad is introduced as one of the idealistic youths who joins the protagonist on his journey. After Arthur successfully pulls the sacred sword Excalibur from its stone platform and is recognized as the rightful king of Britain, he sets out on a quest to obtain the Holy Shield and defeat the evil King Lavik and the witch Morgana.
