TV-Series
Description
Pocoa Uralis is a princess of the Uralis Kingdom and the younger sister of Prince Bonchien Nicoli la Tasty Peach Uralis, known as Bon. She is introduced in the Uralis arc of the story, which corresponds to the second season of the anime. She is a young girl with very long purple hair tied into two ponytails, large doll-like red eyes, and colorful clothing that includes a gem worn near her chest.
Her personality is defined by childlike innocence and unrestrained cheerfulness. She speaks in a lisping, endearing manner, referring to Fushi as "Fushi shan" rather than using the proper form of his name. She is warm, open, and completely unconcerned with royal decorum, approaching people freely and without regard for rank or status. Her family bonds are strong, and she is especially devoted to her brother, whom she adores and affectionately calls "ani ani."
Pocoa is not driven by political ambition or military goals. Her motivation is simply to be close to the people she cares about and to bring them happiness. In a story marked by loss, conflict, and heavy responsibility, she acts as a source of lightness and hope. Her innocent nature has a calming effect on those around her, and she instinctively reaches out to Fushi without fear or hesitation, treating him as a friend rather than a distant or strange being.
Her role in the story is that of an emotional pillar and a bridge between people. She does not fight, and she holds no formal authority over the events unfolding around her. Instead, her value lies in the atmosphere she creates. During the tense preparations for the defense of Renril, her bright presence eases the anxiety of Fushi and his allies, giving them moments of relief and reinforcing their sense of unity. Her willingness to connect with Fushi helps draw him out of his isolation and reminds him of the value of living among and protecting others.
Her most significant relationship is with her brother Bon, whom she loves deeply and looks up to. Her relationship with Fushi is also central to her role in the story; she approaches him with affection and familiarity, and her warmth contributes to his growing connection to humanity. She also relates easily to the wider circle of allies around Fushi, helping to soften tensions and bring people together through simple, genuine interaction.
Pocoa does not undergo a dramatic personal transformation over the course of the story. She remains a consistently bright and childlike presence, and her importance is measured in how she affects others. Through her unwavering friendliness and innocent outlook, she becomes a symbol of the joy and human warmth that Fushi is fighting to preserve.
She possesses no combat abilities or supernatural powers. Her distinguishing strength is her natural talent for emotional connection. Her cheerful demeanor, her playful way of speaking, and her unconditional kindness allow her to disarm suspicion, ease grief, and encourage cooperation, making her a quiet but vital force in keeping the group’s spirit alive.
