Description
The circus owner presides over the troupe visiting the Mississippi town in episode 4, generating palpable excitement among the local children. During a performance, he stages a deceptive disruption: a performer feigns drunkenness and attempts to barge into the ring, convincingly passing as a genuine audience member causing trouble. This manufactured chaos heightens the spectacle's realism for the crowd. The performer then seamlessly transitions into a skilled equestrian act, revealing the disruption as a clever ruse. Witnessing Huckleberry Finn spontaneously replicate this stunt impresses the owner, who promptly hires the boy as a clown for the circus.
