Enrico Carabelli

Enrico Carabelli was an Italian voice actor and dubbing director, born in Barni on June 6, 1943, who passed away in Milan on September 19, 1997. He was also a theater actor and a member of the Teatro dei Filodrammatici di Milano.
He is known for providing numerous voices in the Italian-language dubs of anime and animated series. A significant example of his work is the series Huckleberry Finn Monogatari, known in Italian as Il mio amico Huck, where he voiced multiple characters. His roles in this series included the Doctor, the Duke (second voice), Judge Thatcher, a Machinist, the Owner of the circus (second voice), a Servant of the catfish, and the Sheriff. Beyond his on-screen roles, Carabelli also served as the dubbing director for the Italian version of this series.
His career encompassed a wide range of other prominent anime roles. He was the voice of Luigi in various animated series based on the Super Mario franchise, including The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario World. He voiced Filippo (Tetsuo Morisawa) in L'incantevole Creamy (Magical Angel Creamy Mami) and its specials, and Ralph Morris (Ralph Crewe) in Lovely Sara (A Little Princess Sara). In the anime Robotech, he was the voice of the Vice Commander of the Zentradi and Antonio Diaz. He also contributed voices to the long-running series I Cavalieri dello zodiaco (Saint Seiya), playing characters such as Dohko of Libra, Aphrodite of Pisces, and Mime, among others.
In addition to his work as a voice actor, Carabelli was an active dubbing director.
