Her uncorrected nearsightedness also hinders her ability to use a bow effectively. In combat, Seyla wields a hammer to strike specialized magic cards called Cartado, activating distinct effects: * **Holy Break** summons ground spikes to impale foes. * **Power** enhances allies' physical capabilities. * **Banisher** projects energy beams. * **Magic Shield** generates defensive barriers. * **Dive** enables consciousness travel to the Dream World. * **Seal Weapon** restricts an opponent's offensive actions. * **Purify** exorcises ghosts via incantation. A pivotal early event saw Seyla help cast a Forbidden Magic spell meant to bind the Demon Lord in another dimension. An incantation error by a party member caused a space-time warp, sending everyone, including the Demon Lord, back into the past with amnesia and initiating the core timeline loop. Throughout the story, Seyla applies her knowledge and Cartado skills practically, using Dive to awaken magically sleeping allies and contributing to conflict resolution through non-violent solutions alongside her friends. Her relationships within the party consistently focus on support and caregiving despite her personal flaws.
