Description
Chuichiro Noma is a first-year student at Shohoku High School and a core member of the group of friends known as Sakuragi's Gang. Along with Hanamichi Sakuragi, Youhei Mito, Nozomi Takamiya, and Yuji Okusu, he forms a close-knit quintet that acts as both comic relief and staunch supporters of the team. Noma and his friends all attended Wakoh Junior High together, and their friendship predates the events of the story.
Physically, Noma is notable for his mature appearance, which is accentuated by a thick, sports-style mustache that makes him look much older than a typical high school freshman. He has black hair styled in a classic pompadour. Among his friends, he is one of the quieter members, rarely being the first to speak or instigate a conversation.
