Kuyō Iseshiba is a second-year student at Shizuoka Koran Girls' High School and a member of its golf club. Together with her partner Kaoruko Iijima, she is a regular competitor in national tournaments, forming a doubles pair that challenges the protagonists later in the series. During the semifinal of the All-Japan Girls' Tournament, when Kaoruko’s game unravels from overusing her special abilities, Kuyō steps up and delivers a clutch putt that puts them in position to win.
