Description
Kuyō Iseshiba is a second-year student at Shizuoka Koran Girls' High School and a member of its golf club. Together with her partner Kaoruko Iijima, she is a regular competitor in national tournaments, forming a doubles pair that challenges the protagonists later in the series. She has blonde hair worn in twin tails and green eyes.

Kuyō is acutely aware that her overall golfing ability does not match Kaoruko's, yet she is determined to support her partner with absolute commitment. Rather than feeling overshadowed, she channels her efforts into being a steady, reliable presence on the course. Her primary motivation is to contribute meaningfully to their shared success and to help Kaoruko validate her approach to the sport, especially after a former coach dismissed Kaoruko’s reliance on intense concentration states.

Her standout skill is putting. Kuyō uses a technique called “Search the Line,” which lets her trace and lock onto the ideal putting path with remarkable accuracy. This calm precision becomes crucial in high-stakes moments. During the semifinal of the All-Japan Girls' Tournament, when Kaoruko’s game unravels from overusing her special abilities, Kuyō steps up and delivers a clutch putt that puts them in position to win. That moment highlights her growth from a supporting player into a decisive competitor. While she operates in the shadow of her more explosive partner, Kuyō’s quiet consistency and ability to deliver under pressure make her an essential part of the duo’s strength.
