OVA
Description
Rimururu is Nakoruru's adopted younger sister, a bond revealed in her Samurai Shodown V ending. A devoted priestess of the Ainu religion, she deeply admires her older sister and strives to protect nature like Nakoruru. Though less experienced in combat, she actively defends the forest from evil during Nakoruru's absences and frequently follows her sister to offer aid.

Her personality radiates cheerfulness and a constant smile, reflecting her youth. She occasionally engages in mischief, like involving Mikato in village pranks within the adventure game *Nakoruru: Ano Hito kara no Okurimono*. However, her idolization of Nakoruru sometimes leaves her unaware of her sister's personal struggles.

Rimururu commands an ice spirit named Konru (or Konril), wielding its power for various techniques: generating ice shields to reflect projectiles, forming ice crystals to extend her weapon's reach, throwing ice flowers that bloom on impact, creating ice pedestals for mid-air maneuvers or attacks, summoning ice boulders or hammers to strike foes, and materializing ground-based ice geysers. Her fighting style differs from Nakoruru's, often relying on swift, shorter-range movements. Konru defines her combat approach, though she retains her ice abilities even without the spirit in *Samurai Shodown Sen*.

Key developments mark her journey:
- In *Samurai Shodown III*, she misinterprets the land's evil presence as Amakusa's doing and pursues him. Initially barred by Nakoruru from becoming a priestess, she eventually gains approval after demonstrating her resolve.
- During *Samurai Shodown: Warriors Rage*, Oboro imprisons her for twenty years, preventing her from aiding Nakoruru. Rescued, she unites with her sister to seal Oboro and his weapons after his defeat.
- In the adventure game *Nakoruru: Ano Hito kara no Okurimono*, she returns to her village after a year-long training journey. She initially disapproves of Mikato's presence but accepts her to avoid upsetting Nakoruru, later mentoring Mikato in village traditions and pranks. When Mizuki attacks, she pleads to join Nakoruru's defense but is ordered to remain and protect the village, which she reluctantly obeys. The epilogue implies her departure on another adventure.
- The OVA *Nakoruru: Ano Hito kara no Okurimono* depicts her tending to Nakoruru's wounds and expressing concern over her sister's nightmares and reluctance to discuss past battles. She reacts protectively, freezing Yantamu when he intrudes during Nakoruru's treatment.
- In *Samurai Shodown Sen*, her resolve wavers when she loses the ability to hear nature's voice. Determined not to burden Nakoruru with worry, she leaves home independently to investigate the cause.
