Lakshu is a fledgling spirit priestess from Hōraisan in the Heavenly Realm (Tenkūkai), serving the goddess Vishnu and maintaining spiritual balance. She encounters Shurato immediately after his transmigration to Tenkūkai, awakening him through a kiss that establishes an early connection but complicates their initial interactions due to its personal significance to him. Accompanying Shurato and the warrior Hyūga to clear their names after false accusations of petrifying Vishnu, her latent Sohma powers manifest during their travels. These abilities evolve from basic spiritual sensitivity to active supportive functions, proving strategically valuable for healing and protection during confrontations with the Asura Gods and corrupted Hachibushu. Her combat contributions include participation in combination attacks like the Mandala Formation alongside Shurato, Hyūga, Ryōma, and Reiga in later battles. Her emotional arc centers on deepening attachment to Shurato, developing into romantic feelings as the journey progresses, forming a secondary narrative thread alongside the primary conflict. Following the defeat of Shiva and peace restored in Tenkūkai, she witnesses Shurato's temporary corruption by residual black Sohma, reinforcing her understanding of the perpetual balance between creation and destruction. In the OVA series *Dark Genesis*, her presence is noted among the Hachibushu during the emergence of the new threat Scrimil. The OVAs focus more on the earthly consequences of Gai's disappearance and his sister Mina's connection to Scrimil, with limited information about Lakshu's specific role or actions during these events.
