His ascension followed predecessor Oobami—once reigning as "Emperor Obama"—who staged his own death to abandon the throne covertly, enabling Takeshita’s rise. Under Takeshita, the empire functions as a militaristic, fascist-inspired regime.

Later in his arc, Takeshita sustains mortal injuries and encounters Gil, a nun brutalized by Zoble Empire soldiers. Fully aware of Takeshita’s demonic nature and his role in the oppressive empire, Gil aids him nonetheless, revealing a moment of vulnerability. The Zoble Empire serves as a front for demonic ambitions, positioning Takeshita as a key figure in a conflict against deities called Idaten.
