Mitsuru Miyamoto is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and narrator born on September 8, 1958, in Tokyo. He is affiliated with the Theatre Company Subaru. He graduated from Hokkaido University's Faculty of Engineering, Department of Synthetic Chemistry, before pursuing a career in acting. His voice acting debut was in the Japanese dub of the 1985 American film My Science Project.

Miyamoto is known for a wide range of roles in anime television series. He has played Keiichi Nakagawa in Kochira Katsushika-ku Kamearikouen-mae Hashutsujo, Roger Smith in The Big O, and Ougai Mori in Bungo Stray Dogs and Bungo Stray Dogs Wan!. He has also voiced Steven A. Starphase in Blood Blockade Battlefront, Gaku Yashiro in Erased, and Maiza Avaro in Baccano!. In the 2020s, his roles include Takeshita in The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace, Futoshi Kashino in Fanfare of Adolescence, and Aiwass in A Certain Magical Index III. Additional notable credits include Akasha Shishidou in Corpse Princess: Aka and Kuro, Koumyou Sanzo in Saiyuki Reload: Burial, Rin Shirogane in Kaze no Yojimbo, and Haruki Takagami in Our Home's Fox Deity.

His work also extends to animated films and video games. He voiced the adult Simba in the Japanese-language version of Disney's The Lion King. In video games, his roles include Diavolo and Vinegar Doppio in GioGio's Bizarre Adventure, Parker Luciani in Resident Evil: Revelations, Martin Li in Marvel's Spider-Man, and Ultima in Final Fantasy XVI. He also provided the voice for Dogranio Yaboon in the tokusatsu series Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger.

In the field of live-action dubbing, Miyamoto is the regular Japanese voice actor for several Hollywood actors, including Ethan Hawke, Adrien Brody, Matthew Modine, and Guy Pearce. He was also the first dub-over artist for Keanu Reeves and Brad Pitt in their early careers.
