Description
Lan is a young alien princess from the planet Le Garite, known by her full name Fin E Ld Si Laffinty. She is dispatched to Earth with the mission of protecting Madoka Kyouno and the Vox robotic aircraft that Madoka is destined to pilot. As a newcomer to Earth, Lan is unfamiliar with its customs and language, often picking up phrases from unusual or awkward sources, which leads to frequent misunderstandings. Her personality is marked by a blend of clumsiness and timidity; she is easily frightened, as seen when haunted houses startle her, and her attempts at tasks like waitressing reveal a klutzy but endearing nature that others describe as a cute klutzy waitress. Despite her royal upbringing, she is humble and grateful for the kindness she receives.
Initially, Lan struggles to pilot her own Vox unit because she is afraid, having learned of a supposed tragic fate that befalls Vox pilots.
