TV-Series
Description
Iku Nakatani is a ten-year-old idol affiliated with 765 Production, where she is the youngest member of the Million Stars. She was born in Tokyo on December 16th and has B-type blood. Standing at 142 centimeters tall and weighing 37 kilograms, her measurements are 72-52-73. Her hobbies include watching anime, and her special skill is waking up early in the morning. She holds a deep affection for her mother, who is her favorite person.

Despite her young age, Iku possesses a determined and professional outlook on her work. She strongly dislikes being treated like a child and prefers to be seen as a capable junior idol. This is reflected in her confident speech, as she often tells the producer that she will become a great idol without needing too much help. Her precocious nature is evident in how she designs her own training regimen and completes difficult lessons without complaint. However, this maturity is balanced with childlike characteristics. She becomes genuinely excited when offered work she enjoys, can cry from frustration when things do not go well, and feels immense happiness when her mother praises her accomplishments, such as successfully preparing a meal. An enthusiastic fan of the fictional magical girl anime Magical Girl Shiny Idol, she represents a dedicated anime viewer at a young age.

Iku's primary motivation is to become a truly amazing idol, while also looking forward to growing up, as she sometimes feels her age limits her abilities. Her most significant relationship is with her mother, whom she adores. To compliment someone by saying they are like a mother is considered Iku's highest form of praise. She also shares a very close friendship with fellow young idol Momoko Suou. Their bond is often highlighted in various media, where they encourage each other and appear together frequently, sometimes staying over at each other's homes to practice. She gets along well with other similarly aged idols, such as Tamaki Ogami and Hinata Kinoshita.

In the narrative of the anime adaptation, Iku is a member of the fifth wave of idols at the theater. Her role often places her alongside her friends, particularly in ensemble scenes. For instance, she helps convince Momoko to participate in a live performance at an empty lot. During the group's debut event, a drama CD reveals her excitement about the possibility of her father, who is usually busy with work, attending the show. While her individual narrative focus is limited compared to other characters, she actively participates in group activities such as performing a picture play based on the Momotaro story. Her development centers on working within her team to overcome challenges, such as when the debut event's autograph session was delayed, and the group decided to entertain the audience together. Her notable abilities include her rigorous self-discipline in training and her talent for waking up early.
