Description
Nanaella is a rabbit beastwoman with dark blue hair who works as a receptionist at the Merratoni branch of the Adventurers' Guild. She was born and raised in Grandol and was once a member of an adventurer party. After that party disbanded, roughly one year before the start of the story, she took up her role at the guild. As a receptionist, she handles adventurer registrations, processes quest reports, and provides general administrative support, all while maintaining a cheerful and professional demeanor. Her warm personality and genuine helpfulness make her popular among the adventurers who visit the guild.
Nanaella has a sharp eye for reading others, and she is quick to offer emotional encouragement to those who need it. She develops a particular fondness for the protagonist Luciel after registering him as an adventurer, and she frequently worries about his safety during the brutal training sessions overseen by Guild Master Brod. She is horrified by both Brod’s extreme methods and Luciel’s habit of consuming a foul‑smelling, stamina‑boosting drink known as Substance X. Despite her concerns, she remains supportive and is often seen helping Luciel with his daily needs, such as laundry, during his early days in the new world.
Her key relationships include her close friendship with her colleague Monica, with whom she shares gossip and vents about guild happenings. She also harbors a quiet romantic interest in Luciel, though she often becomes flustered in his presence and subtly competes for his attention with other women in his life. Her empathy and kindness extend to all adventurers, serving as a voice of normalcy and reason within the guild. While she does not possess combat or magical abilities, her strengths lie in her observational skills, administrative competence, and unwavering emotional support. Over time, she grows more confident in her role as a guild administrator and remains an important contact for Luciel after he moves to the Holy City.
