Description
N-Vilio, most often called Ebio or Shrimpy by the protagonist, is a small robotic partner assigned to Teru Momijiyama, the Japanese hero known as Shy. He was created by the character Uni-Lord and is one of several identical units originally stationed aboard a spaceship. His appearance resembles a shrimp, which is the reason for his nickname. As Shy’s dedicated support unit, N-Vilio accompanies her both in civilian life and during missions, providing real-time tactical analysis, guidance, and encouragement. His personality is consistently level‑headed and deadpan, rarely showing strong emotion. Despite his matter‑of‑fact demeanor, he is genuinely invested in helping Teru grow into a confident and capable hero, often pushing her to engage with the public and face difficult situations. He also tends to her practical needs, such as bringing forgotten homework to school, and offers comfort when she feels inadequate. In combat, N-Vilio can analyze enemy movements, relay information through a voice link, and open spatial portals to transport Shy and others to safer locations. His role is that of a loyal mentor and companion, standing by Teru through her insecurities and guiding her as she learns to overcome her shyness. While the story reveals little about his own origins or inner motivations, his consistent dedication suggests a programmed or genuine desire to support his partner’s growth and protect others. Over time, his presence becomes a stabilizing force in Teru’s life, and the bond between them deepens as she begins to trust both him and her own abilities.
