Geese Nukadia, the last survivor of the monkey-like demon Nuka tribe, carried the burden of his village's destruction, orchestrated by Hitogami. This tragedy forged a complex debt, binding Geese to Hitogami as a hidden apostle long before encountering Rudeus Greyrat. Outwardly, he projected a cheerful, easy-going adventurer persona, marked by gambling habits and personal superstitions, masking a manipulative and deceptive core. Around Rudeus, he often adopted a more mature demeanor and strictly followed his personal "Jinx" code, including rules like avoiding four-person parties and refusing to teach cooking after his student Zenith married Paul Greyrat – a decision contributing to their party's end.
As a non-combatant support specialist in the Fangs of the Black Wolf adventuring party, alongside Paul Greyrat, Zenith Greyrat, Ghislaine Dedoldia, Talhand, and Elinalise Dragonroad, Geese proved indispensable. He handled trap detection, supply management, negotiation, mapping, and cooking, earning S-rank status despite occasional minor conflicts stemming from his gambling. Following the party's disbandment, he struggled solo, increasingly relying on gambling for income.
After the Fittoa Region Teleportation Incident, Geese aided Paul's search for his scattered family. He deliberately engineered a reunion with Rudeus by arranging to be imprisoned alongside him in the Great Forest. Later, he mediated tensions between Rudeus and Paul during their quest for Zenith. These actions, including his knowledge of Zenith's location, were later revealed to be guided by Hitogami's instructions.
In the climax, Geese's role as Hitogami's apostle became explicit. He confessed in a letter that his seemingly fortuitous aid – finding Rudeus and locating Zenith – was Hitogami's orchestration. Aware of Hitogami's malevolence but driven by self-preservation, Geese believed compliance was his only survival path. When Rudeus and Orsted threatened Hitogami, Geese assembled a coalition of powerful fighters to eliminate them, though internal conflicts caused the alliance to collapse. Struck down by Rudeus' fire magic during the conflict, Geese's final words, spoken to Ghislaine, affirmed his loyalty to Hitogami, stating obedience was his sole recourse. His death marked his tragic inability to escape Hitogami's influence.
Geese possessed distinct monkey-like facial features, brown hair, and long sideburns, typically clad in dark adventurer attire with leather joint protectors. His legacy stands as a pawn whose manipulations, driven by survival and adherence to his "Jinx" philosophy, facilitated critical plot developments.
