Jaime Alcaraz is a character from the anime Cardfight!! Vanguard G NEXT. He is a professional-level cardfighter who originates from Spain, which is reflected in his frequent use of Spanish words and phrases such as "amigo" during conversation, as well as his occasional difficulty with the Japanese language.
Orphaned during his childhood, Jaime grew up in a children's home under the care of a man named Emilio. It was Emilio who introduced him to Vanguard and gave him his first and most treasured card, "One Who Surpasses the Storm, Thavas," an action that Jaime credits with changing his life.
