She is also described as being decisive and full of energy, reflecting a more optimistic outlook on her circumstances. Her role in the story of Butsu Zone is that of a supporting character who aids the protagonists using her unique spiritual powers.

For her notable abilities, Anna wields the sword Harusame, a weapon which would later reappear in Shaman King as the primary medium for the spirit Amidamaru.
