Benjamin V2 Gundam is the bold and heroic pirate captain of Pirate World, renowned for overcoming challenges through sheer force of personality and a distinctive laugh. He shares a longstanding best friendship with Sun Jian Gundam Astray due to their similar natures. This bond led Sun Jian and his son Sun Quan Gundam Astray to seek Benjamin's aid against a new threat. During Sun Quan's childhood, warrior training aboard Benjamin's ship alongside the captain's extreme behavior and deputy Edward Second V contributed to Sun Quan's more introverted personality.

Benjamin joins the quest for the five OOParts called Haros, essential to counter the impending Dark Star catastrophe. He allies with Sun Jian, Sun Quan, and Edward Second V to retrieve the Haro from Pirate World's Demon's Trench. The group confronts and defeats giant enemy crabs, including one modeled after the MA-06 Val Walo. They then venture underwater to the Almalechal Palace, successfully recover the Haro, and escape the collapsing, flooding palace thanks to a rescue by Asparas.

Later, Benjamin participates in the final battle against Qiongqi Strike Freedom Gundam. He witnesses Wukong Impulse Gundam's transformation into Qitian Dasheng Wukong and the subsequent heroic sacrifice that destroys both Qiongqi and the Dark Star.
