Description
Luxun Zeta Plus, also known as Rikuson Zetaplus, is a young soldier affiliated with the Sonken faction in SD Gundam Sangokuden Brave Battle Warriors. He is inspired by the historical figure Lu Xun from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and is based on the Zeta Plus mobile suit. In the narrative, Luxun is introduced as an orphan who lost his entire village during the reign of the tyrant Toutaku. After being harassed by pirates, he is rescued by Sonshoukou and offered a place in the Son family, which he gladly accepts. This act of kindness becomes the foundation of his fierce loyalty to the Sonken household.
Witnessing the strategic brilliance of Shuuyu Hyakushiki, who repelled the army of Kirei using a clever stratagem, Luxun becomes deeply inspired and decides to become Shuuyu’s disciple. He trains under Shuuyu, learning the art of warfare and command. Luxun is characterized as a diligent and earnest young soldier who wields a large spear with great skill. During the Battle of Red Cliff, when Shuuyu is severely injured by the Keishuu troops, Luxun takes command of the Koutou Navy, covering for his injured mentor and proving his competence. After Shuuyu’s death following the Red Cliff battle, Luxun succeeds him in his position, taking on greater responsibilities within the Sonken army.
A notable aspect of his role is the relationship he shares with Sonshoukou. In the story, he often acts as a caretaker and a companion to her, and she frequently teases or abuses him, though this dynamic underscores their close bond. He also has a subordinate named Teiho.
