Description
Tsukasa Jingūji, a 32-year-old Japanese salaryman, finds himself transported to a fantasy world alongside his childhood friend Hinata Tachibana. He possesses a slender, tall build with refined features, contributing to his consistent popularity with women before transportation. Proficiency in both academic and martial disciplines ("Bunbu and budo") further enhanced his appeal, though frequent exposure to romance's negative aspects fostered deep-seated distrust towards women, leaving Tachibana as his sole trusted confidant.

Jingūji maintains a predominantly calm, composed, and self-possessed demeanor, remaining unflappable under pressure and resistant to supernatural charm effects targeting Tachibana's transformed form. He displays occasional mischievousness and strong traits from his business career: persuasiveness, collaborative ability, curiosity, ingenuity, and strategic vision, adaptable for survival in the new world. His defining characteristic is unwavering loyalty and profound care exclusively for Tachibana, whom he considers his "oasis."

Transportation occurred when the Goddess of Love and Beauty intercepted them escorting a drunken Tachibana home. The goddess granted Tachibana's wish to become a beautiful girl before sending both to her world with a mission to defeat the Demon Lord. Jingūji, angered by the goddess's actions towards his friend and refusing cooperation, provoked her. She retaliated by cursing them with a compulsion to save the world. This triggered complex emotions: Jingūji experiences unexpected attraction to Tachibana's new form while simultaneously grappling with confusion and denial, fearing it jeopardizes their lifelong friendship.

The goddess endowed Jingūji with significant abilities. His primary blessing is "Ideal Body," granting an indestructible physique and abnormal endurance, though its power and effectiveness diminish significantly when Tachibana is not physically present. He also received the "Blessing of the Goddess of Love Max," marked on his body, providing protection, minor charisma useful in bargaining/social interactions, comprehension of the world's languages, and an "Appraisal" skill displaying target information. Conversely, the inflicted "Curse of the Goddess of Love" generates romantic attraction specifically towards Tachibana, visually indicated by a "Charmed" status effect.

His active skills include "Close Quarter Combat [Level 7]," "Hunter [Level 1]," and the unique "Gate of Paradise." This skill manifests an indestructible door recreating Tachibana's condominium interior as a boundary field. Activated by snapping his fingers, the room contains electricity and water but lacks television signals, with windows showing pitch black. Access requires a physical key unique to Jingūji; losing it renders the room permanently inaccessible. The skill was granted as a specific wish upon arrival. Additional capabilities include expert culinary skills highly praised by Tachibana, an analytical mind adept at gathering intelligence and manipulating others through socialization and bartering, and combat instincts allowing him to predict trajectories and evade attacks, including projectiles.

Jingūji's development centers on his relationship with Tachibana. Flashbacks reveal their bond began in childhood when he intervened to protect a bullied Tachibana, establishing a lifelong dynamic of support. The fantasy world strains this dynamic. Jingūji experiences intense jealousy and emotional turmoil when separated from Tachibana or when others express attraction towards him, leading to depressive states. This dependence is reciprocated and physically reinforced by his "Ideal Body" skill weakening during separation. While initially attributing his romantic feelings solely to the goddess's curse, subtle hints like his childhood protectiveness suggest potentially pre-existing latent affection. He struggles profoundly with acknowledging these complex emotions, often manifesting as denial or aggression. His primary motivation evolves into protecting Tachibana above all else, prioritizing it over the goddess's mission or his own emotional confusion.
