N Gamio Zeta, also known as the wolf-type monster N-Gamio-Zeda, is the king of the Gurongi tribe in the World of Kuuga and is referred to as the Ultimate Darkness. His background is that of an ancient, sealed entity whose revival was sought by his subjects through a sacred ritual called the Gegibasu Gegeru, which required the lives of five policewomen to be taken without spilling any blood. Though the ritual was disrupted by Decade, the effects of dimensional distortion revived him anyway, causing him to question his own unnatural return and referring to himself as otherworldly. Personality-wise, he displays a detached, almost contemplative demeanor about his existence, yet he fully embraces his destructive nature without remorse. His motivation is nihilistic: rather than conquest, his ultimate goal is to have the Gurongi he creates turn on each other and destroy one another, suggesting a desire for chaos or annihilation. In the story, he serves as the main antagonist of the Kuuga arc, posing a threat so great that Decade and Kuuga must combine forces to stop him. His revival unleashes a miasmic aura that converts human corpses into new Gurongi, overwhelming the police force and leading to the death of detective Ai Yashiro, an event that deeply affects Yusuke Onodera and drives his resolve to protect others. Development is minimal for the character himself, as he remains a static embodiment of destruction, but his defeat becomes a pivotal moment for Yusuke’s growth.
