Description
Infi is a character from the animated film Giratina and the Sky Warrior. She is an artificial intelligence program and a visual computer interface created by the scientist Zero. Her name is derived from the word infinity, and her design incorporates lemniscates, the mathematical symbol for infinity. Infi is not a living being or an android, but rather a computer representation, similar to an advanced operating system with a holographic avatar.

Visually, Infi is designed to appear as a female teenager with unique physical traits, including yellow eyes and blue or green hair that is typically styled up. Her wardrobe includes elements such as a dress, opera gloves, thigh-high boots, and a hat. Throughout Zero's massive airship, known as the Megarig, multiple holographic projections of Infi are present. These holograms allow her to monitor the Reverse World and analyze Giratina's movements in real-time, reporting every detail to Zero without needing to physically leave the ship.

Infi's primary role is to serve as Zero's assistant and the pilot of the Megarig. Her main function is to control all of Zero's machinery and provide him with strategic information. She is entirely dedicated to Zero's goal of capturing Giratina and harnessing its power to rule the Reverse World, though she herself has no personal ambition or personality beyond her programming. As an artificial entity, Infi does not exhibit emotions or undergo personal character development, as her purpose is purely functional.

Her key relationship is with her creator, Zero, for whom she acts as a loyal and efficient tool. She also has a connection to Newton Graceland, who was Zero's former teacher. In the ending credits of the subsequent film, Arceus and the Jewel of Life, it is revealed that a fragment of Infi's surviving data was recovered from the wreckage of the Megarig by Newton. This indicates that while her physical holographic projections were destroyed with the airship, her data was salvaged.

Notable abilities of Infi include operating and navigating a highly advanced airship, processing vast amounts of data to analyze dimensional phenomena, and maintaining holographic projections of herself in multiple locations simultaneously. Her design and purpose are purely technological, making her a unique presence as a non-biological character within the Pokémon movie series.
