Description
Doctor Koshiro Kisaragi is a brilliant cyberneticist whose work forms the entire foundation of the story. A scientist of immense genius, he is the creator of the Airborne Element Fixing Device, a revolutionary invention that allows its user to manipulate and solidify the very elements of the air, enabling incredible transformations and abilities. He is the father and creator of the main protagonist, Honey Kisaragi, as well as her two fellow androids, Miki Saotome and Yuki Kenmochi. He modeled these three sisters after his own deceased biological daughter, seeking to bring new life from his grief.

His motivations stem from a blend of scientific ambition and deep personal loss. He created the Honey System with the intention of giving his creation a normal life and the power to protect herself. He loved his three android daughters deeply, seeing them as his legacy rather than mere machines. This love and his complex ethical decisions regarding their creation are central to his posthumous influence on the story.

By the time the series begins, Doctor Kisaragi is already deceased, having been murdered by the criminal organization Panther Claw, which sought to steal the Airborne Element Fixing Device for their own purposes. His death is the inciting incident that forces Honey to take up her role. Though physically absent, his role in the story is monumental. His research data, encoded in notebooks and buried memories within the sisters' systems, slowly reveals the truths of their origins and the nature of their powers. Key characters investigate his work, and the final truth about his relationship with the three sisters is uncovered through the course of the narrative.

Regarding his personality, Kisaragi is depicted as a devoted but flawed father. He combined tenderness with the detached perspective of a scientist, a duality that defines the complicated legacy he left for Honey, Miki, and Yuki. His actions were driven by love, yet he could not foresee all the consequences of creating artificial life, leaving his daughters to grapple with their identities in his absence.

In terms of development, Doctor Kisaragi's character is explored entirely through flashbacks, notebooks, and the memories of the sisters. The story slowly peels back the layers of his life and death. Honey, in particular, develops a stronger understanding of her father's love and his ultimate goals for her. His hidden files reveal not just the technical secrets of the Honey System, but also his emotional farewells and the final instructions he left for his beloved daughters.

His notable abilities are entirely scientific. He was a pioneer in the field of cybernetics and elemental physics, creating the Airborne Element Fixing Device, also known as the Honey System. This device is the source of the androids' power, allowing them to transform and manifest weapons and abilities tailored to their individual codes. His engineering prowess and forward-thinking designs are the source of the immense power that both the heroes and villains seek to control.
