Description
Hideaki Suruga is an FBI agent who serves as a key ally to the detective L during the events of the bioterrorism crisis. His professional background is tied to fellow agents Raye Penber and Naomi Misora, having gone through the academy together. Suruga was even meant to host Penber and Misora's wedding, indicating a close friendship among the three trainees. After Misora's departure, Suruga took over her duties, and he later felt a personal debt to L for avenging their deaths.
