Kizao Kiza is a human boy and a recurring supporting character in the anime Obake no Q-Taro. He is a classmate of the main protagonist Shota Ohara and forms part of the core group of neighborhood children. Kizao comes from a wealthy family, a background he frequently boasts about to his peers in an effort to signal his higher status. He is most often seen in the company of Shota, Shinichi, the studious Hakase, and the local bully Tsuyoshi Saigo, whom the children call Godzilla. Kizao has a tendency to flatter Godzilla and sometimes calls him boss in an attempt to curry favor and avoid being targeted by his bullying, though he occasionally shows a stubborn streak and is not purely a sycophant. He has short dark hair and is usually seen in his school uniform. His role in the narrative is to provide additional comedic dynamics among the human cast, reacting to the normal school life and the extraordinary mischief caused by the ghost Q-Taro. He does not have any supernatural abilities. His primary motivation is maintaining his social standing among his friends.
