Description
Oburi is a young male assassin in the 1998 anime Kite. He is a teenage boy with a slender, youthful appearance, blue hair cut to ear length, and green eyes. He became an orphan at an early age after his parents died, and as a result he came under the control of Akai and Kanie, two corrupt police detectives who use young people as killers. Oburi lives alone in an old warehouse, where he quietly cares for stray cats, and he holds an ordinary civilian job at a shop or convenience store that serves as a cover for his work as a hired killer.
In personality, Oburi is reserved and unassuming in everyday life. Despite his violent occupation, he displays a gentler side through his care for stray animals and through his evident weariness with killing.
