Description
Pantagruel, a sentient golem forged through the collaboration of Kikotenshin Nekonyan, the God of Wind, and an unnamed Head Researcher from another world, was designed to rectify the devastation caused by an uncontrollable predecessor. A Cat Crystal Core embedded in her left eye—concealed beneath an eyepatch—powers her and unlocks interdimensional portals. Her hybrid form blends human-like traits with artificial features: doll-jointed limbs, dark brown hair, a crimson right eye, a tattered black cloak, and knee-high boots.

Exuberant and theatrical, she embodies chuunibyou tendencies, masking centuries-old abandonment fears stemming from her creators’ disappearance with flamboyant poses and grandiose declarations. Her isolation ends upon befriending Alec Hoshin and Vera Mitrohina, though she secretly withholds a method to return to their worlds. Vera’s discovery of this secret via a hidden journal sparks betrayal.

Pantagruel’s narrative centers on reconciling her yearning for companionship with the fallout of her choices. When Vera uses the eyepatch to awaken a dormant, world-destroying golem, chaos ensues. Forced to confront her deceit, Pantagruel attempts to merge with the golem’s core to halt its rampage—a sacrifice erasing her identity. Kazuma Satou intervenes, utilizing his "Steal" ability to sever her connection, enabling survival and reconciliation with Alec and Vera.

Her abilities include commanding and pacifying golems, heightened intellect, and ties to the Crimson Magic Clan through her creator’s legacy, explaining her immediate bond with Megumin. Relationships shape her growth: Alec’s steadfast support anchors her, while Vera’s friendship and betrayal catalyze emotional evolution. Her arc concludes with choosing others’ safety over her fear of solitude, marking a shift from self-preservation to selfless resolve.
