Description
The character known as Iria is a young woman who works as a bounty hunter in a futuristic setting. She hails from the Batabitajira region of the planet Myce and is employed by a security and investigations agency called Ghomvak Security. At the start of her story, she is a rookie, and her official hunter identification number is 9799-5. In her profession, a hunter's rank is signified by a colored stone pendant; as an apprentice, her pendant is pink, but upon receiving her full license, she earns a blue stone with three red dots.

Iria is characterized as something of a tomboy and is known for her eccentric habit of wearing men's hair ornaments. While she can be a bit reckless due to her inexperience, she compensates for this with a sharp mind and considerable natural talent for her dangerous work. She is a skilled warrior who makes her living by hunting and capturing dangerous criminals across galaxies, and she is known for her determination and willingness to accept what others consider a suicide mission.

Her primary role in the story is centered on her first encounter with Zeiram, a virtually indestructible alien biological weapon. This mission goes catastrophically wrong when Zeiram quickly captures and absorbs the other members of her team, leaving Iria as the sole survivor. This event sets her on a personal mission to destroy the creature. Her key relationship during this mission is with a highly intelligent computer system named Bob, who assists her.

In terms of development, the narrative follows her transition from a promising but relatively inexperienced rookie bounty hunter into a hardened survivor forced to confront an unstoppable enemy. She demonstrates a capacity to learn and adapt, using her intelligence to counter Zeiram's immense power. Her notable abilities include being a highly capable fighter who wields advanced technology, such as a powerful space bazooka, body armor, and an electric shield for protection. She is also agile and quick-thinking, possessing the skills necessary to navigate extremely dangerous situations.
