Manager Shirosawa is a tapir demon who owns and operates the Asura Cafe. Standing 115 centimeters tall, he presents as a bipedal tapir wearing small round glasses and no clothing, his mouth often hidden by his large nose.

He possesses a highly anxious and nervous personality, frequently overthinking situations and sustaining injuries that result in visible bandages. Despite his pervasive nervousness affecting business decisions, he remains fundamentally caring and runs the cafe with dedication.

Inspired by Sakura Chiyoda's cat form, which he mistook for a fortune-granting fairy during the cafe's grand opening, Shirosawa created the Tamasakura shopping district's mascot, Tamasakura-chan. He employs several individuals, including the Huli jing fox demon Lico and Yuko Yoshida (Shamiko). Lico harbors a crush on him and has occasionally used magical leaves in her food to bewitch customers, an incident that once affected Shamiko. Both employees refer to him as "Master."

A character resembling Shirosawa made a brief appearance in Episode 12 of the anime's first season prior to his formal introduction in Season 2 Episode 4, though it is unclear if this was definitively him or another tapir demon.
