Description
Miyuki Tezuka is a fortune-teller who becomes Kamen Rider Raia, one of the thirteen participants in the Rider Fight depicted in the alternate telling of the Kamen Rider Ryuki story presented in the special. He is a mysterious and enigmatic individual who believes strongly in predestination, yet he enters the war with the clear intention of ending it and changing the fates of all the Riders. His motivation stems from a desire to help others; in this version, he became a Rider specifically to assist a woman named Eri Aikawa, though he also maintains the broader goal of stopping the senseless conflict. True to his fortune-telling background, Tezuka often appears calm and insightful, able to read situations and people with accuracy, but he also possesses a self-sacrificing nature that drives him to put himself in harm’s way for the sake of others. In the special, his role is relatively brief: despite his peaceful intentions, he is killed by Kamen Rider Verde early in the Rider War and is thus expelled from the competition. His relationships are primarily defined by his connection to Eri Aikawa, which indirectly ties him to Ren Akiyama, and his interactions with Shinji Kido, whose own goal of ending the war aligns with Tezuka’s. Tezuka’s development is cut short by his early demise, but his willingness to stand against the war’s brutality highlights his honorable nature. As Kamen Rider Raia, he wields the Advent Deck that contracts with the Mirror Monster Evildiver. His combat style is melee-oriented, using the Evil Visor mounted on his left forearm as a small shield. His available abilities include the Swing Vent, which summons a whip, the Copy Vent, which allows him to replicate an opponent’s weapon, and the Final Vent called Hide Venom, in which he rides Evildiver and rams into his target. Though he is among the first Riders to fall in the special, his presence reinforces the tragedy of the Rider War and the difficulty of achieving peace.
