Description
Daisy carries the trauma of a past life in which she was born the daughter of a baron. When she received the God Occupation of Maid, her family was so horrified that they abandoned her to die alone from illness. Now, reincarnated as the cherished daughter of a viscount, she fears history repeating itself when her God Occupation is again revealed to be an undesirable one: Alchemist. However, her new life is different from the start. Her loving family does not reject her but instead builds her a laboratory and supports her ambitions. Daisy soon discovers she possesses extraordinary advantages that make this second chance far more promising than her first. Her Appraisal ability allows her to analyze any item with perfect precision, and she has been blessed by the spirits, becoming the Beloved Child of the Spirit King. She can also use powerful magic, a rare combination of talents that sets her apart.
The setting is a fantasy world where God Occupations determine social standing and potential. Daisy begins her journey as a young girl in a privileged noble household but quickly proves that the Alchemist job is anything but worthless. Armed with new alchemy tools and the spirits favor, she creates potions of incredible power, including remedies that can regrow limbs, neutralize any poison, and even force confessions from criminals. Despite her overwhelming abilities, Daisy has a simple dream: to run her own shop. Her personality is sweet and earnest, but she remains haunted by the fear that her previous rejection could happen again, though her familys unwavering support slowly heals that wound.
The storys first major narrative arc follows Daisy as she navigates her early childhood, masters her abilities, and establishes her place in the world. Unlike many reincarnation stories, the trauma of her past life fades quickly once she realizes she is truly safe and loved. The narrative then shifts focus to her alchemical creations and her interactions with the kingdoms around her. She begins gathering rare materials, brewing potions for royalty, and ultimately prepares to open her own store. By the end of the first volume, Daisy is ready to begin her quiet, peaceful life as a shopkeeper, though her overpowered talents suggest that greater adventures and challenges lie ahead.
