The story unfolds at Fujinomiya Academy, an elite institution nicknamed the Kingdom for its history of producing exceptional students, particularly through its student council led by the charismatic Kouzaka Gio a generation ago. The protagonist is Kagaemi Yuna, a scholarship athlete on the track team who finds her living situation in crisis after being injured in a traffic accident, forcing her to leave the school dormitory. In a surprising turn, the top student in the entire grade, Kouzaka Ryou, invites her to stay at his family home. Ryou is the son of the legendary Kouzaka Gio and is the most popular student on campus, poised to become the next student council president.

As Yuna recovers, she finds herself gradually drawn to Ryou, who is not only brilliant but also unexpectedly kind and attentive. After a group part-time job in Karuizawa that brings them closer, Yuna firmly decides that she wants to become Ryou’s girlfriend. However, returning to school does not signal peace. Her status as a talented and now high-profile student sparks a Yuna争夺戦, a competition among various sports clubs to recruit her, a battle that Ryou himself joins, setting the stage for romantic and comedic conflict centered on her future at the academy.
